Ode to Storms

With this body of work I aspire to convey a mixture of emotions by showcasing the power and benevolence of nature at it best. Even at the peak of the storm there is a moment of calm and beauty that I believe the camera is able to capture. By dodging and burning these photographs I delved into emphasizing this powerful sense of calm surrounded by this menace.

There is peace even in the storm

“Can you hear it??

….If there is a storm at sea does it make a sound ?

Strom at La Perouse”

My interpretation of escaping something turbulent into calm waters.

“ Resting and Admiring” This photograph was taken in Milford Sound, New Zealand. I just saw the little bird admiring the storm and I realised that I was just doing the same.
